The Government today (November 16) announced that the Antiquities Authority (i.e. the Secretary for Development) has declared the exteriors of Fung Ping Shan Building, Eliot Hall and May Hall at the University of Hong Kong as monuments under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance. Photo shows the roof eaves of May Hall with numerous supporting brackets as a design feature, and a moulded cornice underneath.
