The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung (eighth right), joins a group photo with the delegation of the National Parliament and four Sub-national Parliaments of Myanmar this afternoon (July 10). Mr Cheung introduced to the delegates the political system in Hong Kong, including policymaking and the executive-legislature relationship at the meeting with the delegation. He stated that Hong Kong and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are important trading partners and looked forward to stronger collaboration between Hong Kong and Myanmar on all fronts with a view to boosting economic development and people-to-people connection of the two places. The delegation includes members and senior staff from the National Parliament as well as four Sub-national Parliaments of Myanmar.
